NMPF stands for, the National Milk Producers Federation, established in 1916. This community drafts and implements policies that advance the prosperity of dairy producers and their cooperatives. NMPF’s corporations produce the majority of the U.S. milk supply, making NMPF the voice of more than 32,000 dairy producers.
NMPF provides a council through which dairy farmers and their colleagues can create and voice unified ideas on national issues that affect milk production and marketing. NMPF’s main goal is to improve the economic interests of dairy farmers. This in turn will ensure the nation’s consumers an ample supply of pure, nutritional milk and dairy products.
The policies of NMPF are determined by its delegation from across the nation. Therefore, the policy positions expressed by NMPF are a nationwide expression of dairy farmers and their cooperatives to the federal government as a unified body.
